Handwoven by Alirio and his team, Ventana is a fabric that rewards a closer look. At first glance, it appears to be one cloth. Look longer, and something more fascinating reveals itself, a top layer, open and airy, through which a denser, more tightly woven layer below becomes visible. Two fabrics, in conversation, bound together into one.

The effect is unlike anything produced on a standard loom setup, and the technique behind it is as intricate as the result is beautiful. Ventana is heavier in weight than our sheer textiles, with a presence and substance that grounds a space while its layered structure keeps it feeling open and alive.

This is a fabric for those who appreciate the extraordinary complexity that skilled hands can coax from thread, a textile that seems simple until it isn't, and reveals more of itself the longer you live with it.

  • MATERIALS: 100% Cotton 

    WIDTH: 35” 

    MINIMUM: 1 yard

    RESERVES & CFA: CFAs are available on orders over 5 yards. Please email sales@rbcurated.com if the CFA shipping address is different than the fabric shipping address.

  • Spot clean or gently hand wash in cold water. Use a mild detergent and wash each product separately. Hang or lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean.
