End of the year note from our founder, Regan

Hi there,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of our community. We’re so excited for what’s ahead in 2026, from new collections, to seeing our work in your projects and homes, to travel adventures. But before we look forward, I’d like to reflect on some of the highlights from 2025 and to thank you for being part of our journey.

In January 2025, I traveled to Guatemala to get content for the RB Curated website. We traveled to 8 communities to document the incredible stories and talent behind each product we make in collaboration with master artisans in Guatemala. Together with our team in Guatemala, we tell the story of each community on our Artisan Page.

In April we launched the RB Curated website! It was a huge team effort that had been in the works for 8 years.

In September, we launched our Trade Program. If you are an interior designer, we would love for you to join.

As a long term fan of AOW Handmade, it was amazing to be featured in their article in November. We discussed our approach to designing with artisans in Guatemala. If you don’t already follow her articles, we get a lot of inspiration from Annie’s story telling and exploration of artisan made products from around the globe!

In November, we were highlighted in Home & Design magazine for the way every stitch in our work carries a story. It’s a recognition that speaks to the heart of what we do — honoring the hands, histories, and landscapes behind each piece.

In Home Accents Today, our Culebra textile was celebrated for embodying the moment with its blend of artisan craft, fair-trade values, and curated sophistication.

I recently expanded my Regan Billingsley Interiors Design Firm to Naples and it was amazing to be featured in the Naples Illustrated as a proud member of their community.

In July we attended the International Folk Art Market. We were blown away by the market with over 150 artisans from around the globe. I can’t wait to go back next year!

In October I curated a list of my favorite things with The Business of Home which features some of my favorite go-to home products. Check it out to learn more about my design aesthetic and what inspires me in Guatemala.

For the holiday season, we were included in Bethesda Magazine’s annual Gift Guide for the modern philanthropist, a curated selection for those who value gifts with purpose, beauty, and impact. Our textiles were highlighted not only for their craftsmanship but for the way they allow the giver to support artisan communities while sharing something meaningful and deeply rooted in story.

Saana Baker of The Textile Eye, a publication we deeply admire for its innovative and forward-looking lens on the textile industry, highlighted how our collection reflects both the skill of our Guatemalan partners and the refined, intentional design perspective behind RB Curated. Her insight underscores what we believe at our core: that integrity and style not only coexist, but create a powerful pairing.

Wow! What a year.

In 2026, we are excited to share a new blog concept called Artisan Travels where I share my favorite things about the amazing places I visit for RB Curated!

Many more exciting events are coming up in 2026 and opportunities to connect in person, so stay tuned!

Our team hopes that you have a restful holiday season.
