Handwoven by Gudi on a traditional footloom, this heirloom textile is defined by soft hues and a steady, rhythmic interplay of lines. Woven from supple cotton, the fabric balances comfort with tradition, reflecting the time-honored practices of Guatemalan weaving.

Inspired by the traditional huipiles worn in Santiago Atitlán, the design features intersecting stripes that move both horizontally and vertically. Each horizontal line is placed by hand, row by row—a meticulous process that creates subtle texture while honoring a craft rooted in patience and precision. The resulting plaid carries a sense of movement and depth, shaped entirely by the artisan’s touch.

Both structured and versatile, this pattern adds dimension to a space while remaining easy to layer with other textiles. Its nuanced color palette and refined geometry make it especially suited for interiors, offering designers a timeless piece that speaks to heritage, artistry, and thoughtful design.

    MINIMUM: 1 yard

    RESERVES & CFA: CFAs are available on orders over 5 yards. Please email sales@rbcurated.com if the CFA shipping address is different than the fabric shipping address.

  • Spot clean or gently hand wash in cold water. Use a mild detergent and wash each product separately. Hang or lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean.
