Handwoven by Gudi on a traditional footloom, Tela Luz was born from a simple but ambitious request: to create something lighter than what the loom had ever made before. What followed was a quiet feat of engineering and intuition.

The setup is deceptively familiar, a standard loom configuration, but the magic lives in the making. As Gudi weaves, he deliberately refrains from fully beating the weft thread down, instead pressing the beater with extraordinary precision to nearly, but not quite, meet the previous row. It is a measurement taken entirely by eye, repeated with perfect consistency across every inch of cloth. The result is a fabric of uncommon lightness: soft, gauzy, and luminous, as though it holds the air within it.

Designed exclusively for curtain sheers, Tela Luz filters light rather than blocking it, bringing warmth and softness to any interior while honoring the remarkable skill of the hand that made it.
